A2X Alternative for Amazon Sellers on QuickBooks Online
Short answer: if you sell only on Amazon and use QuickBooks Online, Vtory does the same core job as A2X. It turns each Amazon settlement into a summarized QuickBooks journal, with cost of goods sold. The difference is price: Vtory costs one flat $195 per year with no order limits, while A2X is billed monthly by order volume. If you also sell on Shopify, eBay, Etsy or Walmart, or you use Xero, A2X is the better fit.
Disclosure: I built Vtory, so I'm not neutral. I've tried to be fair to A2X. It's a good product and the market leader for a reason. A2X prices below are its published Amazon list prices as of June 2026. Check A2X's pricing page for current numbers.
Why sellers look for an A2X alternative
A2X works. Most people who look for an alternative aren't unhappy with the accounting. They're unhappy with the bill:
- The price grows with your orders. A2X plans are tiered by orders per month. A good quarter can push you into the next plan.
- COGS isn't on the cheapest plan. A2X's entry Amazon plan (Mini) doesn't include cost of goods sold. You need Starter or higher.
- You pay for channels you don't use. If Amazon is your only sales channel, multichannel support doesn't help you.
- It's a monthly bill forever. Amazon plans are month-to-month, with no published annual discount.

A2X Amazon list prices, month-to-month, as of June 2026. Annual = monthly × 12.

When A2X is the better choice
Pick A2X if any of these are true:
- You sell on more than Amazon. A2X connects Shopify, eBay, Etsy, Walmart and others in one place. Vtory is Amazon-only.
- You use Xero. Vtory works with QuickBooks Online only.
- Your accountant runs many clients in A2X. A2X has a large accountant partner program. Vtory doesn't have multi-client access for firms yet.
- You want the most established option. A2X has been around for years and has a big support team. Vtory is a small, founder-led product.
When Vtory is the better fit
- You sell only on Amazon, in one or more marketplaces (US, Canada, Mexico, UK or the EU).
- You use QuickBooks Online.
- You want COGS included without moving up a plan.
- You'd rather pay once a year and not watch your order count.
- You want to talk to the person who built the product when you set it up.
Other A2X alternatives worth a look
To be complete, here are the other tools Amazon sellers usually compare:
- Link My Books: settlement-based like A2X, with strong UK and EU VAT handling. Multichannel.
- Taxomate: settlement-based, with a low entry price. Popular with smaller sellers.
- Webgility and Synder: these sync at the order level and connect many sales channels and payment processors. They suit you if you want individual sales in QuickBooks, not a summary per settlement.
Most of these also price by order volume, so compare them at your current order count and at the count you expect next year.
How to switch from A2X to Vtory
Switching takes about 30 minutes, and you keep your existing QuickBooks accounts.
- Find your cutover settlement. In QuickBooks, find the last Amazon settlement A2X posted. Vtory will start with the next one.
- Connect Amazon and QuickBooks to Vtory. Vtory imports your chart of accounts.
- Map to the same accounts A2X used. In Vtory's account mapping, point each Amazon category (sales, refunds, FBA fees, selling fees, and so on) at the accounts you already have. Your reports stay comparable month to month.
- Add product costs if you track COGS. Download your products as a spreadsheet, fill in unit costs (you can copy them from A2X), and upload it back.
- Process the first settlement after cutover and compare it with what A2X would have posted. The total should equal the bank deposit.
- Don't post settlements twice. Skip any settlement A2X already posted. In Vtory, leave those unprocessed.
- Cancel A2X once the first Vtory journal matches your bank deposit.
